An old reformed criminal, John, is stranded after his release from prison and is forced to take public transport to a halfway house. His abrupt return to society instantly exposes him to old temptations that challenge his righteous, new-found path. John is conflicted as suppressed memories of his childhood and dark past resurface. He begins to realise his faith may not be enough to keep his inner demons at bay.

Samantha Timms
Samantha Timms is a writer/director of both factual and fictional content based in Brisbane, Australia. Graduating from the University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor of Applied Media, she initially entered the film industry in the role of Assistant Director on several short films and two local feature films. Previously working for many notable Queensland companies such as Hoodlum, Taxi and Changer Studios, Samantha has established her film industry profile through producing TVC’s and online content. In 2017, Samantha acted as Script Coordinator on the Hoodlum and ABC Studios International series Harrow before moving into a producer/director role for the factual production company Flickchicks . The short film Reformed is Samantha’s directing debut and was selected for the Screen Queensland Shorts Initiative, premiering at Screamfest in Los Angeles in October 2018.
