BIOGRAPHIES
Daryl Paris Bright
Hailing from the DMV Metropolitian area, Daryl is a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Carnegie Mellon University where she majored in Drama. After graduating Salutatorian and Vice President of her high school class, she continued her studies in Pittsburgh, where she was a member of SPIRIT, an organization dedicated to encouraging campus diversity and co-hosted CNT's first original podcast.
Daryl developed a passion for devised original work and Drama for Social Change when she collaborated with Dramatic Adventure Theatre, performing original work in Prague, Bratislava, and Tanzania. Since moving to New York City, she has had two co-star roles on CBS shows: Instinct and the Good Fight. In addition, to thriving in the New York spoken word scene, Daryl helps write, produce, and star in CNT's sketch comedy series, "Not Your Type." She is a social activist who strives to create spaces for the nuanced stories of under-represented voices not only in mainstream media, but throughout her community.
