Synopsis: Sleeping is a coming-of-age tale about a young girl's unusual babysitting experience, and the unexpected life lesson she learns along the way.


Biographies

Christina Nayve, Executive Producer: "Sleeping" marks Christina's inauguration in filmmaking. Her past projects include PR & Publicity Consultant for Advent Theatre's stage play productions of "The Inspector Calls" and "The Fantasticks" (2005); "Later Life" and "Johnny Guitar", the musical (2006). She was the Publicity & Marketing Consultant for the sold-out Preview Night Benefit stage play production of "The Boys Next Door". In 2006, she Co-Produced "The Golden Hour", a story with a spiritual quest, which was a critical and commercial hit for the award-winning Lodestone Theatre Ensemble. Through storytelling, Christina combines her passion for the creative world with a deep interest in humanity.

Frank Metayer, Executive Producer: Frank is a graduate of the prominent New York School for Film & TV Conservatory program where he studied Film/TV Production and Entertainment Law & Contracts. He has Executive Producing credits in the major Off-Broadway productions "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom," "A Raisin in the Sun," "Amen Corner," and "A Few Good Men." Frank is founder and President of Lief
Productions, specializing in all aspects of film business and equity investments.

Doug Conant, Director & Co-Writer: Since his earliest adventures with a clunky three-piece VHS camera, Doug has been passionate about filmmaking. His previous film, "Broken", garnered much attention and praise for its delicate, honest treatment of rape/sexual assault survivors and counselors. It is currently used as a teaching and therapy tool at various crisis centers throughout the United States. Using sound and image to explore humanity, reveal character, and share unique, entertaining stories is his driving motivation.

Emily Topper, Director of Photography: Emily was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1977 and now resides in Los Angeles. She was educated at Swarthmore College and University of Southern California, a graduate of the MFA program in Cinematography. She is currently shooting a documentary about Levon Helm with director Jacob Hatley and an Untitled feature film with director Rain Breaw.
